  • Cleaning dirty oven racks - An easy way of cleaning those dirty oven racks is to pull them out of your oven, fill your bath tub with hot water and put the racks in the bath tub water. Add some dishwashing detergent, and a little white vinegar. Let them soak for about an hour. After soaking rinse them off and most of the junk will be gone!

  • Cutting board stained and ugly - Using a teaspoon or two of common laundry bleach in a dishpan of warm water and a little scrubbing will make it look like new! Be sure to rinse the board in very hot water several times to remove all traces of the bleach.

  • Dishwasher stains - Pulling clean dishes out of a dirty dishwasher is not the most delightful thing a family wants to see. Using a powdered laundry bleach instead of your regular detergent, run your empty dishwasher through one entire cycle. It will clean those ugly stains and disinfect it too!

  • Cleaning your outdoor grill - Grilling during the summer months is great, but trying to get the grill grates clean is a dirty job. Here's an easy way to clean your grill. Put the grates into a large trash can and cover them with industrial strength detergent generously. Fill the can with water (hot water if possible). Let them soak over night. Almost all the baked on dirt will be gone when you rinse them!

  • Clogged sink or tub - You can give your plunger a little more power, cover the overflow opening with a cloth this will improve the suction!
